Essentials

  • Arrival and Pick-up: Please plan to arrive in New Delhi on October 23rd. We will provide hotel pick-up on October 24th.

  • Accommodation: We recommend staying at any hotel in the Aerocity region, which is just 10 minutes away from the airport. Two hotel options you may consider are:

    • Holiday Inn: Known for high-quality food and excellent services.

    • Roseate House: Preferred by Gurmukh for its aesthetic appeal.

  • Flight Departure: For your return, you can book a flight departing from New Delhi on November 2nd. It is recommended to choose a flight anytime after 6 PM.

  • Final Day: On the morning of November 2nd, we will have an early morning class in Jaipur. We will then return to New Delhi in the morning. However, some participants may choose to stay in Jaipur.


Offerings: included in retreat price

The retreat fee covers accommodation in hotels from October 24-November 1, shuttle bus travel between cities, delicious meals (excluding two lunches), guided tours of each city, and the yoga sessions.

Royal Additions: Excluded from the retreat price

Please note that flights to India, e-visa fee, New Delhi hotel stay on October 23rd, and any spa treatments at the hotel or in town are not included.

Mandawa

In the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan lies the city of painted Havelis (Palaces). As our first stop, we will explore the rustic village life of Mandawa. Mandawa is known for being home to visual and architectural wonders, with its fort and Havelis. The Havelis are renowned for their intricate wall paintings that are rich with stories and energy.

Bikaner

Bikaner, a desert kingdom in Rajasthan, is not only a cultural paradise but also famous for its mesmerizing sand dunes. This city offers a rich experience for those seeking a taste of cultural and historical heritage. There are few places in Rajasthan as popular as Bikaner, known for its festivals, handicrafts, and historical sites. The holy Karni Mata temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to Karni Mata, the Goddess of Miracles.

Jaisalmer

Situated amid the scenic Thar Desert and popularly known as 'The Golden City,' Jaisalmer derives its name from Maharawal Jaisal Singh, the founder of this city. Here, you can relax and explore the different facets of thousands of years of history and culture amidst the yellow sandstone and sand. We will spend one night in town and one night glamping out in the desert under the stars.

Jodhpur

Jodhpur, known as 'The Blue City,' exudes a distinct aura of ether energy and royalty. This city is renowned for its rich tie-and-dye tradition, unique fashions, and cultural art. Nestled amidst the sandstone hills of Rajasthan and encircled by a sublime wall, Jodhpur, with its blue and white buildings, is a true treasure.

Pushkar

Pushkar, the land of Gods and Goddesses, is also known as Tirthai-Raj (Royal Pilgrimage). It is home to the only temple of Brahma, the God of Creation. The serene ghats (lakes) of Pushkar Lake offer a peaceful respite from the challenges of life. The holy water of these ghats is believed to have the ability to wash away sins and any lingering cords/ghosts of the past.

Jaipur

In Jaipur, known as the "Pink City," you will discover a blend of rich cultural heritage, delectable Indian cuisine, and eclectic shopping bazaars. The royal ambiance is the main attraction of Jaipur, with its magnificent Havelis and sprawling forts. Exploring this marvelous destination acquaints you with the majestic lifestyle and historical legacy of Indian royalty. For a taste of royalty and a glimpse into the past, Jaipur is the place to be.
